Vodafone partnered with Hitachi Consulting to deliver a connected farming solution to Calliope Station, a farm in Australia. With the ability to monitor 7,000 cattle across 70, 000 acres, the farmers can anticipate and respond to any potential problems - before it even becomes a problem - resulting in much greater productivity gains. This project was supported by MLA (Meat and Livestock Australia), which helps ensure that the red meat production chain in Australia continues to benefit from the adoption of new technology and digital trends.
